Gerry Cowley Initially qualified as a dispensing optician (FBDO) and re qualified as an optometrist FCOPTOM (graduate prizewinner Bausch & Lomb Contact lens prize) in 1990. Has worked in Saudi Arabia & as an optometrist in St Lucia.

Lorraine Bonet MSc MCOPTOM – Masters degree in paediatric optometry.

Shirley Blundell BSc Hons MCOPTOM.

Support team:

Julie Jones Has been with the practice since the beginning in 1991.

Linda Mosley Has been with the practice 7 years and is now working part time after having a new baby two years ago.

We have invested in high quality equipment, and as well as ordinary frames we also carry designer ranges.

With a background of dispensing optics we have good knowledge of specialised lenses to suit individual needs.

We have a return rate of 80% with our customers, in an industry where 40% is considered good.

We have a workshop on site so we can control the quality of work.

We allow half hour appointments for both NHS and private eye examinations to provide a one to one service.
